In Ropes is a band based in Madison Wisconsin.
It is made up of Leo Abraham Randle, Leo Ryan, and Francis Randall.

Hello! We are called In Ropes, we started playing together Fall of 2024. We like to write about living in Madison. Me and Leo Ryan had known each other before this, we had been in the same dorm at UW Madison, before being introduced to Francis Randall through Stan Brueske (Hush Now Sweet Halo, Eat Turf, Sheep). Stan also helped with the name. After hearing us practice multiple times, he commented "You guys always sound like something that seems strung out", which lead to the name Twine, which then lead to the name In Ropes. I personally don't think about band names that hard, I think the music makes the image first and then the name, but it stuck in a very nice way. We plan on continuing to release EPs until we can think of a concept good enough to put into a full length release. Eventually we'll release an LP. -Leo Abraham Randle
